EU launches consultation with civil society over Morocco NIP

The EU Delegation in Morocco is calling for feedback from civil society actors as the European Commission prepares to draw up its National Indicative Programme (NIP) for the country for the period 2011-2013. The EC launched its preparations for the new NIP in March. Seeking maximum transparency and objectivity, and in order to target its actions in the most effective way, the Commission wants to consult as wide a range of actors as possible, with particular focus on civil society, a press release said.

All civil society actors are therefore called to give their opinions by 30 April around the following themes:

- Opinions priority areas for action

- The most appropriate actors for involvement

- The most relevant actions to be put in place

- The possible role of civil society in cooperation
