UAE- Singapore: focusing on new opportunities

Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development (MBRCLD), an innovative leadership foundation designed to develop future national leaders capable of promoting the sustainable development of Dubai, has recently hosted a meeting between Reem Al Hashemi, UAE Minister of State, and Dr. Astrid S. Tuminez, Assistant Dean of Executive Education and Research Director of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) in Singapore's National University.

Also present during the high-profile meeting was Adel Al Shared, Executive Chairman of MBRCLD, who briefed Dr. Tuminez on MBRPLD's objectives, strategies and activities. Dr. Tuminez has been invited by MBRCLD to serve as keynote speaker for new sessions of the Center activities.

Commenting on the high-level meeting, Adel Al Shared said, "The meeting with Dr. Tuminez featured in-depth discussions about Dubai's strategies and the sustainable development plans of the emirate.

Such meetings provide an opportunity to share experiences and ideas with renowned global leaders, in addition to enabling us to present the various initiatives being undertaken in line with Dubai's vision and the Dubai Strategic Plan 2015."
