based artist Archana Prakash will unveil more than 20 art work at her first solo exhibition at the Ella Art Gallery, Hoora, tomorrow. The Moods of Colours exhibition centres on the theme of Bahrain's heritage and natural beauty.
"Since I was born and brought up in Bahrain, its vast heritage inspires me a lot and as we all know about global warming being a threat to the world, nature couldn't be a much better theme," said Ms Prakash.

The business administration student at the Birla Institute of Technology International Centre prefers mediums, including pastels, acrylics and oils, and has taken part in several international art school and student competitions.

"I am excited and looking forward to the exhibition as its my first solo and not everyone is lucky enough to get an opportunity to have their own exhibition.

"I'm thankful to God and my parents for placing their trust in me and giving me this chance.

"My mum has always been my inspiration and guide." The exhibition opens at 4pm. It will remain open daily from 10am to 1.30pm and 4pm to 8pm until May 7.
