Silatech to fund investment projects in Yemen

A consultation and rehabilitation meeting for youth and women to implement small income-generating investment projects was held in Yemen. The projects will be financed by Silatech initiative which was launched by H.H. Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser al-Missned last June aiming to create new jobs and opportunities for employment in the Middle East and North Africa region, especially for young people.

The meeting, chaired by Yemen''s Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Amt al-Razak Hommad, reviewed training modules for youths and women to join the investment projects, financed by Silatech, such as /Telal Arrayan/ project due to be implemented this year in Faj Attan area.

The Yemeni Minister praised the selection of Yemen to be among the six Arab countries included in Silatech initiative, noting that the project would have positive impact in reducing high unemployment among young people. (QNA)
