The Pan Arab Web Awards was created to recognize excellence in web design, development and web ownership skills to showcase their creativity in a competition for the best websites and digital communication, covering the entire Pan-Arab region. Hundreds of entries from over 20 countries in the Middle East and North African region were received, making it the largest Pan Arab Awards held till date.

For the fifth year The Pan Arab Web Awards Committee organized the Awards in association with Microsoft, MSN Mena and BSA. The Pan Arab Web Awards was created to recognize excellence in web design, development and web ownership skills to showcase their creativity in a competition for the best website in the Pan Arab Region. They aim to serve as an inspiration, archive and at the same time reward to web creators. It also aims to promote the innovative spirit of web designers to meet professional and international standards, to promote intellectual and production opportunities, as well as to develop an interactive proactive and reactive community that aims at providing recognition to this e-sector in the most superlative way.
