Argentine FM Supports Syria's Efforts to Restore Golan

Argentine Foreign Minister Jorge Taiana affirmed on Wednesday that his country supports Syria's efforts to restore the occupied Syrian Golan, and that Argentina supports the just Arab causes and rights.
During his meeting with Syrian Minister of Expatriates Joseph Swaid, Minister Taiana pointed out that the historical Syrian-Argentine relations are based on friendship, mutual respect and common interests of their peoples.

For his part, Minister Swaid said the presence of the Sryian communities in Argentina and South American countries constitutes a bridge for communication among these countries and Syria.

Minister Swaid also discussed the state of Syrian communities in Argentina with the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee at the Argentine National Congress in the presence of members of the Committee and heads of Syrian-Argentine and Arab-Argentine friendship associations. (SANA)
