Oman, Iran review relations in Tourism & Municipalities

An official talks session between the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran was held in Tehran under the chairperson of Dr. Rajha bint Abdulamir bin Ali, Omani Tourism Minister and Asfndyar Raheem Misha'ie, Iranian Tourism Minister.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the friendly relations particularly in tourism fields, encourage joint tourism ventures and the Iranian experience in the field of tourism in order to promote the tourism sector in the Sultanate. The archeological and tourist attractions in both countries have been highlighted.

Oman Takes Part in
Floods Management Workshop in Tehran

Oman represented by the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources will take part in a workshop on Integrated Floods Management due to be commenced in the Iranian Capital, Tehran Monday and lasts for four days.

During the workshop's activities where a number of experts in the floods management field will take part, expertise will be exchanged and experience in fields related to methods of its proper floods management social, economic and environmental dimensions, in addition to ways of managing them and developing abilities of dealing with such events each in his capacity.
