Tunisian engineering school nets 3 rd prize at Moscow mobile robots festival

The Tunisian higher school of technology and computers (ESTI) received 3 rd prize at the 11 th edition of the Moscow mobile robots festival which took place in the Russian capital from May 11 to 16, 2009.

ESTI was ranked 3 rd after two Russian institutions and was credited with a second place in the festival’s overall ranking.
Organized by the Moscow State University, one of Russia’s most prestigious tertiary institutions, the festival is a much coveted international scientific event, enabling both young and seasoned inventors to showcase their latest robotic applications ranging from domestic robots to security robots to be used in combat areas.

The competition also attracted teams from South Korea, and France. It is the first time Tunisia takes part in the event.
The Tunisian team from ESTI comprised both teachers and students who presented their project to the festival’s jury (Tunisaonline)
