Dubai Financial Market - Foreign investors sell more than they buy

Dubai Financial Market announced today that the value of shares bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during last week (21 - 25 June) reached AED 1.408 billion (US$383.65) comprising 38.7% of the total value of stocks traded during the period.

The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached AED1.577 billion comprising 43.4% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net foreign investment on the market reached AED169.5 million during the same period, as aggregate sell.

The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached AED691 million comprising 19% of the total value of stocks traded during the period.

The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached AED888 million which constitutes 24.4% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net institutional investment on the market reached AED196.9 million during the period. as aggregate sell.
