As global markets starts to stabilise, companies need to make sense of how emerging markets, although affected by the global recession, still provide excellent growth prospects far in excess of the developed world.
The 2009 Emerging Markets Summit, is set to attract the region’s 300 foremost business executives, influencers and leading experts in discussions on how to refocus their strategies for a region that offers some of the best opportunities for growth.

Top issues facing international board members will be discussed at the Summit—including how trade can be developed in a climate of risk and turbulence; is there really such a thing as free trade; delivering industrial growth without environmental compromise; and building on cross-border relationships. Expert editors at The Economist will interview Prime Ministers and keynote speakers and will provide a business outlook for China, India, Sub-Sahara Africa, Russia and Latin America.
