Libya: Arab-African Aviation Conference to take place in Tripoli

From October 5 to 8 at Mitiga Airport in Tripoli, Libya, will take place the third edition of the "Libyan Aviation Exhibition - Lavex 2009". It is expected the participation of 115 expositors from several countries and an attendance of about 100,000 visitors. The event is organized together with the third Pan Arab-African Aviation Conference, to provide the opportunity to all those interested and the decision makers from the African and neighbouring Arab countries to learn about the latest technologies and to meet experts and representatives of international companies.

The new edition of the expo, considered as a continuation to "Lavex 2007" (in which more than 65 companies from 25 countries participated witnessing about 30,000 visitors per day) exhibiting the latest in the fields of civil and military air transportation industries.

The event is organized by Wahaexpo with the sponsorship and participation of AgustaWestland (Finmeccanica group). Among the various participating company there are EADS, Boeing, Dassault, Cessna, Thales, Alenia Aermacchi, Alenia Aeronautica, Air France, Selex Sistemi Integrati, Sukhoi and Piaggio Aero.
