Algeria - Four Al-Qaeda militants killed

Algerian authorities announced on Monday that security forces have killed four militants belonging to "Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb" group in downtown Hassi in the province of Djelfa, 280 km south of the Algerian capital.
Algerian security forces said in a statement, security forces monitored the movement of the four gunmen from the remote area, the gunmen tried to reach the city of Hassi to meet other militants to convene in an armed organization meeting, local sources added.

The security forces were pursuing the gunmen' car in an area 310 kilometers west of Algiers, to find out their destination.

The bodies of the dead militants were sent to Ain hospital and were appointed to the state to determine their identity.
