ISESCO to hold education symposium in Libya

The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) will organize, in cooperation with the Libyan National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, an international symposium on higher education quality, on 1-4 November 2009, in the Libyan capital Tripoli.

The symposium will bring together officials representing the ministries of higher education in Jordan, Tunisia, Qatar, Syria, Morocco and Libya. On top of this meeting’s agenda will be the total quality management in higher education (concept, stages and application), quality standards and indicators in higher education, methods of measuring quality and accreditation in higher education, in addition to the review and assessment of the experiences of the participating countries in the field of total quality.

Dr Ibrahim Chadati, programme specialist, will represent ISESCO in this event.
