The recorded episodes of the popular “Million’s Poet” Nabati poetry TV competition will be broadcast every Wednesday starting tomorrow 18 November 2009 on Abu Dhabi TV at 10:30 PM local time.

The first episodes of the program sponsored and produced by Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) records jury’s audition in some Arab capitals including Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and Amman which took place last month.

The jury panel includes Dr Ghasan Al Hassan, Sultan Al Amimi and Hamad Al Saeed interviewed thousands of poets who are keen to take part in one of its kind TV Nabati competition.

The first episode will show scenes from Abu Dhabi audition which lasted for four days at Al Raha Beach Theater and includes behind the camera scenes for emirate poets and others from 13 deferent Arab countries flocked to the capital with a dream to win the title of the competition and UAD 5 million as a prize for the first winner or any of the competition total prize of UAD 22 million.

The fourth season of the competition has witnessed wide participation from poets and media poets also who participates for the first time in the competition which is considered the gate to fame and glory in the world of Nabati poetry which is the dialect Arabic.

The jury panel has short listed the participants in to 48 poets who will be competing each other in live episodes starting med-December.
