‘BP 100 Gold Plate Award’ goes for Oman Oil Marketing Company

Oman (Muscat) - As the sole distributor of BP branded lubricants in the Sultanate, Oman Oil Marketing Company (Omanoil), received the “BP 100 Gold Plate Award” from long-standing partner British Petroleum, during BP’s Visco Academy Awards in celebration of their 100 year anniversary which was held recently at the Grand Hyatt, Muscat.

The BP Visco Academy Awards is a first-of-its-kind initiative pioneered by BP to officially acknowledge the exceptional performance of 30 long-term lubricant trade partners across the Sultanate. To mark the special occasion, Shaukath Assadi, General Manager of Lubricants at omanoil expressed, “This award is a clear reflection of our productive and equally beneficial partnership that has capitulated imperative market results over the years.

We look forward to future strategic partnerships that will ultimately serve the interests of our wide customer base”. Assadi went on to say, “Spearheading the market with such an internationally distinguished brand has enabled us to provide our patrons with the finest in lubricant products while facilitating outstanding services throughout our network.”

Omanoil has enjoyed a leading role in the local lubricants market, by exclusively catering to different fragments and demands, including automotive, high street, commercial and industrial, franchise, rigs, transport companies and the government. BP Visco 2000, one of the prime lubricant brands, is considered to be the most popular petrol engine oil in the Sultanate and a market leader in Passenger Car Motor Oil Segment (PCMOS), given superior deposit oxidation resistance, and maximum protection against engine wear and corrosion.

The product complements the wide range of Visco engine oils that are designed with CleanGuard technology that are guaranteed to maintain cleaner car engines for a prolonged period of time. In addition, BP and omanoil recently held special customer meetings at Nizwa for the Dakhiliyah region customers, at Ibra for Sharqiyah customers, as well as the Wusta region at Sohar for Batinah customers.
