GCC: GSMA Unveils it's 2010 Marketing Campaign

The Gulf Sports Media Association (GSMA) today unveiled it's 2010 marketing campaign aimed at creating a broad base for medial strategists and partners from Gulf newspapers and Satellite TV channels envisaged to act as a major partner for GSMA activities in 2010 at the AGCC states' level.

The campaign seeks to establish direct links with the mass media, deliver a uniform medial message that supports the Gulf sports at the local and international forums, consolidate the collective work to promote the Gulf sports.

GSMA will unveil in the near future its' medial partners who serve as promotional arm, as well as, strategic partners at the private sector's establishments being the main sponsors of GSMA's activity that covers a number of seminars, conferences and partnerships.

Among these activities is fraternity with the International Sports Press Association and the Arab Press Association in order to enhance the Gulf media at the Arab and International forums.

For it's marketing programme, GSMA has offered a package of advantages for it's media and strategic partners including the joint media presence at all of the functions, a one year promotional bonus for strategic partners in line with GSMA, Arab and International agenda through the fraternity agreements struck by GSMA.

GSMA will be launching it's new Logo within the next few days. The logo has been approved at GSMA's recent meeting in Doha, Qatar under the chair of Salim al Habsi, Chairman of GSMA and in the presence of J. Mirlo, Chairman of the International Sports Press Association, Mohammed Jamil AbdulQadir, Chairman of the Arab Sports Press Association.

GSMA will launch next week the 'Gulf Journalist's Card', being the first Pan Gulf media card for Gulf mediamen and journalists working for the media establishments. GSMA has linked the card with the International Sports Press Association's Card which secures same privileges being entertained by a member of the international association.

GSMA is currently finalizing the launching of it's Website that will link Gulf sports news which will be available at the disposal of the sports media establishments. GSMA's website will also be linked to the International Sports Press Associations and the Arab Press Association's websites.

It's worth noting that GSMA was promulgated in Muscat on the fringes of the recent Gulf Soccer Cup Championship and based in Muscat. It's members are from the various sports media committees in the AGCC states
