Oman to Take Part in London Book Fair

Sultanate of Oman represented by the Heritage and Culture Ministry will take part in London International Book Fair, due to begin tomorrow (Monday) and lasts for three days.

Sultanate's pavilion during the session of this fair will be one of the Prominent and distinct pavilions. It is prepared over a wide area and equipped with the latest display techniques and elegant decors inspired from the Omani Architecture and heritage. The pavilion will include different cultural, heritage, historic, scientific, media and tourism publications that highlight the Sultanate's culture, heritage and civilization.

A number of cultural institutions, concerned with individuals and international publishing houses worldwide have made appointments to visit Sultanate's pavilion during the period of the fair.

The London Book Fair takes place annually at Earls Court, London and is now in its 39th year. It is the global marketplace for rights negotiation and the sale and distribution of content across print, audio, TV, film and digital channels. Taking place every spring in the world’s premier publishing and cultural capital, it is a unique opportunity to explore, understand and capitalise on the innovations shaping the publishing world of the future. The London Book Fair brings you direct access to customers, content and emerging markets. The London Book Fair 2010 will take place from 19th – 21st April 2010.
