Egypt offers Qatar promising investment opportunities

Egypt Investment Minister Mahmoud Mohieddin called for increasing mutual investments with Qatar, saying there are many promising investment opportunities in the Egyptian economy, especially in the tourism sector.

There are many new tourist areas in Egypt, especially in the Upper Egypt, Mohieddin said during talks with Qatari Economy Minister Yousef Hussein Kamel, Trade and Business Minister Sheikh Jassim ben Abdelaziz ben Jassim and Minister of State Sheikh Hamad ben Naser ben Thani.

Mohieddin is leading a delegation grouping representatives of several Egyptian public and private companies during his visit to Qatar.

There are many investment chances in the North-West Suez Gulf Economic Zone which is so close to Ain Sokhna port as well as the Integrated Development Area for Upper Egypt-Red Sea Road, he added.

There are many Egyptian companies working in the Qatari market, especially in the financial services, contracting and engineering consultancy fields, he said.(SIS)
