Brand Oman - Ahmad al Harthy to help promote the Sultanate

The Brand Oman Management Unit (BOMU) has signed up Muscat-based racing driver Ahmad al Harthy to help promote Oman through his sporting campaign in the 2010 Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship.

BOMU leads and facilitates the promotion of the Sultanate of Oman as a world- class destination where people choose to visit, live and in which companies want to do business.

Al Harthy will play an important role in helping BOMU raise the Sultanate’s profile in the UK and on Continental Europe.

The addition of Brand Oman to Al Harthy’s extremely high-profile and prestigious sponsorship portfolio follows recently confirmed agreements with two of the Sultanate’s most successful businesses.

Speaking about his new brand ambassadorial role, Al Harthy said, “I’m absolutely thrilled to be involved with Brand Oman.”

Al Harthy went on to add, “I’m very fortunate to have such a strong support for the 2010 season in Porsche Carrera Cup GB.”
