The 10th Syrian International Motor Show Opens in Damascus

Damascus - The 10th Syrian International Motor Show 2010, an exhibition for automotives, spare parts and automobile accessories, opened on Thursday at Damascus International Fairground.

SYRMOTORSHOW 2010 has brought together 188 car companies and agencies representing 25 Arab and foreign countries.

This one-week exhibition is organized by Allied Expo Co. and Projex Exhibitions Services Co.

Minister of Transport Yarub Badr said the show is a great opportunity to introduce clients to all brands of cars in one place, which will save them time and efforts.

Badr added that the pavilion of the Ministry at the exhibition has a traffic safety promotion program to encourage clients and visitors to buy environmentally friendly vehicles by introducing cuts on customs duties for these types of cars.

The exhibition will also provide vendors and manufacturers to showcase their latest services and products including cars, vehicles, sports cars, motorcycles, trucks and the latest prices and offers made by car agents in Syria.

In addition to car companies, SYRMOTORSHOW 2010 has attracted participation from banks and insurance companies presenting offers and services for auto loan payments. (SANA)
