AOAD's team and the committee members were briefed on some factors and pivots of the Arab Sustainable Agricultural Development Strategy for the two decades 2005-2025 and the goals that aim at building self-sufficiency in the sectors of agricultural and livestock products.

The obstacles that face the workers in the agricultural and livestock sectors were also discussed during the meeting, in addition to, the problem of the agricultural insurance, as well as, the absence of the financial support that is deemed to be one of the major reasons that minimises the participation of the private sector enterprises in this vital field.
