Farnborough: Royal Air Maroc, SNECMA sign engine maintenance contract

London - Royal Air Maroc, Morocco's flag carrier RAM and French company SNECMA signed at Farnborough Air Show, a contract on engine maintenance and repair.

Signed by RAM and SNECMA CEOs, the contract runs until 2018 and covers 36 Boeing 737NG of RAM's fleet.

The contract enables RAM to achieve its ambitions in terms of engine reliability at a competitive and fixed cost.

SNECMA is a subsidiary of French group Safran, which is specialized in the manufacturing of engines for aeronautics and astronautics.

Morocco participates for the first time at Farnborough Air Show (July 19-25) to highlight its assets in terms of investment in the aerospace industry. (MAP)
