Lebanon: Qatar Petrochemical Company opens logistics facility in Tripoli

Qatar's Deputy Premier and Minister of Energy and Industry Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, who is also the Chairman of Qatar Petrochemical Company "QAPCO" opened the QAPCO logistics services facility at the free zone in Tripoli port, the largest city in northern Lebanon. The opening ceremony was attended by Lebanese Minister of Public Works and Transportation Ghazi Aridi, Qatar's Ambassador to Lebanon Ali bin Saad Al Mohannadi, a number of MPs of the Lebanese parliament and a number of Lebanese officials.

the Deputy Premier and Minister of Energy and Industry expressed in a speech on the occasion his pleasure over the inauguration of the facility, saying that Qatar is proud of its distinguished economic and political relations with the Lebanese Republic, the Government, people and institutions that was behind our decision of opening of representation office of the QAFCO in 2006 and the logistics services facility to serve the Lebanese market. "

al Attiyah highlighted  the economic development Qatar is witnessing which comes in line with the wise guidance of  HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, which stress the need to consolidate Qatar's  economic and political relations with all world's countries, especially the Arab countries and HH the Emir's keenness  on investing all efforts, capacities and resources to ensure the specific distinction of all sectors of the Qatari economy in general and the industrial sector in particular as well as the  importance of  its integration with the sisterly Arab countries by  increasing the trade exchange  to stave off the risks that  radically affected the international trade " .
