Egypt, Brazil to exchange trade missions

Egypt Minister of Trade and Industry Rasheed Mohamed Rasheed said the signing of a free trade agreement between Egypt and Mercosur countries is a 'first step' in a new and distinguished leaf of trade and economic relations between Egypt and Brazil.

Addressing an Egyptian-Brazilian forum, Rasheed said trade missions would be exchanged between Egypt and Brazil in a move meant to optimise an agreement signed between both sides.

The deal provides preferential advantages for Egyptian exports to help them find their way to Latin American markets.

Rasheed said that an Egyptian commercial mission will visit Brazil in the coming two months to probe vistas of cooperation in the various spheres.

A Brazilian mission will be soon dispatched to Egypt, added Rasheed.
