Qatari German Company For Medical Devices reveals a net loss of QR 1.4 Million

Qatar (Doha) - Qatari German Company For Medical Devices disclosed the semi annual financial statements for the period ending June 30, 2010.

The financial statements revealed a net loss of QR 1.4 Million in comparison to a net loss of QR 177.262 for the corresponding period in 2009.

The Loss per Share (LPS) amounted to QR 0.126 as of June 30, 2010 versus loss per share (LPS) of QR 0.015 of the same period in 2009, the company said in a statement published on the (Qatar Exchange) website.

Qatar German Company for Medical Devices (QGMD) was established in 2000 and was listed in Qatar Stock Exchange in 2002.

It is specialized in the manufacturing of medical devices such as IV Catheter, Standard Syringes and Safety Syringes. Within a very short span of time, it has emerged as the largest manufacturer and exporter of medical devices in the Middle East.
