Egypt, Australia to promote technical cooperation

Egypt's Investment Minister Mahmoud Mohieddin conferred with Australian Ambassador to Egypt Stephanie Shwabsky on ways to promote technical cooperation between the two countries.

They also reviewed investment opportunities at the Arab, African and Mediterranean levels, given Egypt's outstanding geographic location.

Mohieddin also discussed the invitation extended to the Investment Ministry to take part in the proceedings of Australia-Arab Business Forum & Expo which will be held in Australia on October 24-26.

The Forum is organized by Australia-Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AACCI). He added that the delegation of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) along with representatives from private and public sector companies will take part in this important event.

The Egyptian side is keen on promoting investment cooperation with Australia, Mohieddin said.
