Qatar: National Leasing Holding Company Implements Oracle ERP Solution

Qatar (Doha) - National Leasing Holding Company (Alijarah) has successfully implemented Oracle ERP solution across the Holding company and its subsidiaries.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors Sheikh Falah Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al-Thani expressed his pleasure to see the company's success in the implementation of Oracle ERP, and said "The implementation of Oracle ERP is a strategic move to help the company to manage its latest technologies which will contribute to business development, increase productivity and efficiency, reduce costs and improve the standards of service.
Oracle ERP is an asset in the expansion of the company s performance to a large degree by providing efficient communication tools for interaction with Suppliers and partners, customers and employees.
This also helps the company in competing in an effective manner in the field of Islamic Leasing.
The implementation of Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (Oracle ERP system) is another success in the record of the achievements of the company to reach its strategic objectives essential to achieving excellence through continuous improvement of all services provided to customers and provide an environment that integrates information and provides a transparent and expeditious information amongst the various departments and parties with which we deal with".

Oracle ERP Suite of applications, an-integrated software, is used across National Leasing Holding and its subsidiaries in the core business operations and support operations like financial management, procurement, Human resources including payroll. The distinguishing factor of Oracle ERP from other traditional software is the integration, which allows the completion of transactions more efficient and eliminates redundant data entry processes and is an essential means to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business processes.

Dr. Mohammed Asad Al-Emadi, the CEO stated that "the implementation of Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (Oracle ERP System) is the result of continuous work over six months to build a system designed to create a virtual environment dispensing with the paperwork. Oracle ERP system will assist in flow of data and information accurately and effectively.
National Leasing Holding chose Oracle as their choice of enterprise application suite after a detailed feasibility study which revealed that Oracle best suited National Leasing Holding and subsidiary business requirements, offered the most flexible solution, and would support the company's initiatives in integrating the business processes for optimizing enterprise performance.
The implementation covered the under-mentioned business processes: Financial Management (General Ledger, Cash management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets), Procurement & Inventory (Requisition and Ordering, Supplier Payments, and Inventory Management and Control),
Human Resources (Manpower Planning, Recruitment, Personnel Administration, Payroll, and Performance Management), Manufacturing process (Project management, Bill of material, Work flow management, Quality Control, and Cost management), Management Reporting, Performance Reporting, and Business Key Performance Indicators Reporting), and Customer relationship, Sales, Marketing, Customer services, and Customer communications)".

Dr. Mohammed Asad Al-Emadi reiterated that "Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning helps to achieve a high degree of compliance with the laws governing the use of mail and security applications and helps to maintain confidentiality of data, as well reduce operational costs through streamlined procedures."
