Green energy - Egypt looks into the first nuclear station funding
The Egyptian Cabinet has reviewed a report submitted by Minister of Electricity Hassan Younis on Egypt's nuclear program for generating electricity.

Cabinet spokesman Magdi Radi said a joint committee of the finance and electricity ministries, and some other ministries concerned, will convene within days to look into funding the first nuclear station and three others until 2025.

Egyptian President Mubarak had attended an expert meeting that decided on Dab'a area, northwest of Cairo, as the site of the first Egyptian nuclear power station.
