China: Lebanon to participate in Shanghai International Exhibition

Lebanon - Environment Minister Mohammad Rahal left Beirut on Monday to China to participate in Shanghai International exhibition for 2010 which will be held between 13 and 17 September 2010, reports Lebanese News Agency.

Rahal is accompanied with the Assistant of the residential representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Lebanon, Environmental counselor Edgard Chehab.

The visit aims at getting introduced to up- to-date technologies and techniques used internationally in environmental management, mainly that used in water and waste treatment and rationing the use of energy.
