UAE, Yemen enhancing cooperation in energy and investment

Montreal - UAE Minister of Economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri received Yemeni Transport Minister Khaled Ibrahim on the sidelines of the 37th session of the General Assembly of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), being held here. Al Mansouri is leading the UAE delegation to the ICAO General Assembly Meetings.

The meeting discussed ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation in areas of energy and investment and opening up new scopes for that cooperation in sectors like investment, trade and economy so as to increase trade exchange.

Al Mansouri said the UAE leadership was keen to support development programmes in Yemen and set investment priorities in view of the available opportunities.

The Yemeni minister said his country welcomes UAE investment in all sectors, affirming his government's readiness to offer all assistance and facilities to UAE investors
