Oman Korea Forum to explore business opportunities

Oman (Muscat) - Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) will organize next Monday the Omani-Korean Businessmen Forum on the sidelines of the visit of the Korean delegation to the Sultanate.

The meeting will be attended by Khalil bin Abdullah Al-Khunji, OCCI chairman and Young-chan Park, vice-minister of Knowledge Economy, head of the Korean commercial delegation and Dong-keun, Lee, Vice Chairman of Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The agenda will include bilateral meetings between businessmen and women in the two parties to discuss fields and available opportunities of cooperation in all spheres.

The forum will also include several welcome speeches to be delivered by officials in the two parties, in addition to, a group of working papers from the two sides, as the Korean side will talk about the energy sector concerning the available opportunities and techniques, the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Oman and Korea, as well as, the cooperation opportunities between the two countries. The Omani side will talk about the investment atmosphere in the Sultanate and the available investment opportunities in Sohar.

The forum will include signing an agreement on establishing the Omani-Korean Joint Business Council between Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
