Libya: Oman Takes Part at Tripoli Exhibition

Libya (Tripoli) - The Sultanate, represented by the Heritage and Culture Ministry takes part at Tripoli Exhibition scheduled to kick off on Wednesday and lasts up to December 25th. The participation of the Ministry at the exhibition aims at introducing the Omani book and highlighting the thought, literary and historic aspect of the Sultanate.

The publications that will be displayed by the Ministry cover historic, literary, cultural and theological fields. It will also include the products for a number of projects published by the Ministry during 2009 and 2010.

The Ministry's pavilion will be provided with new publications published in coordination with the different public and private establishments in the Sultanate with interest in books.

As per the support provided by the Ministry to the participation of the Omani bookshops at the international exhibitions , Muscat Book Shop , Al Anfal Book Shop and Al Dhamri Book Shop for Publication and Distribution will take part at the exhibition.

It is worth mentioning that the Sultanate's participation at the exhibition in Libya comes within the framework of the exchange and the existing cultural relations between the two countries which witness a constant growth that was supported recently by organizing Omani Cultural Days in Tripoli and Libyan Cultural Days in Muscat
