UAE: Khalifa Foundation sends relief assistance to Somalia

Yemen (Sana'a) - A shipment of relief supplies, donated by Khalifa Charity Foundation, arrived in the Port of Mogadishu through the Port of Aden as part of the Foundation's humanitarian assistance to Somalia.

Somalia's Prime Minister Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed paid the tribute of his government to UAE President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the humanitarian assistance the Foundation is extending to alleviate suffering of the Somali people.

''The UAE has spared no effort to lead relief operations that assist Somalia and its people,''he added.

Received by Minister of Interior and National Security is Abdishakur Sheikh Hassan Farah, the relief shipment was the third in three months and aimed at easing difficult living conditions of Somali people. (WAM)
