Qatar Prime Minister Inaugurates Middle East Automotive Summit

Qatar (Doha) - HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani inaugurated "The 1st Middle East Automotive Summit" which held under the slogan "Highlight the Future of the Automobile".

"What Allah has bestowed on the State of Qatar from natural resources exploited for the sake of Qatar's progress and prosperity and the welfare of the citizens, thanks to the wise leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani," said HE in his speech at the opening ceremony.

HE the Prime Minister also said that Doha by hosting such an event will gain economic and tourist importance and implications specially that this event is hosted in the Middle East for the first time in its history. HE thanked the participants and the organizers of the conference for the selection of Doha to host this event and accompanying exhibition," Qatar's First Car Expiation," which will be opened this evening at the Doha Exhibition Center.

Qatar by hosting this event will highlight the national efforts in Economic diversity and creativity in various fields specially in the tourism sector.

HE expressed hope that the car exhibition will put Qatar as competitor to the similar international exhibitions hosted by major cities around the world.
