Carnegie Mellon University: Expert to Speak on Qatar National Vision 2030

Qatar (Doha) - A top development planning and economy expert will lecture on Qatar National Vision 2030, the implementation of the national development strategy and its goals for the next five years at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar.

Secretary General of the General Secretariat for Development Planning and Economic Advisor to His Highness the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Dr. Ibrahim Al Ibrahim will speak on these topics at Carnegie Mellon in Education City on February 15 at 11.30am.

Dean of Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar G. Richard Tucker said, "At Carnegie Mellon we actively support the implementation of the Qatar National Vision 2030. We are pleased to have Dr. Ibrahim a key advisor in drafting the document, as a special guest speaker to discuss the national development strategy, goals and implementation plan for the coming five years."

As a member of Qatar Foundation, we are proud to be a part of such a significant movement to transform the nation into a leading knowledge economy. The programmes that we offer at our Education City campus frame our commitment to the Qatar 2030 National Vision, and are aligned with its fundamental pillars of developing people, society, the economy and the environment, the Dean said in the media statement from the university.
