UK: Jordan University, Perth College discuss aviation cooperation

Jordan (Ramtha) Acting President of Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) Ahed Wahadneh on Sunday discussed with a delegation from the Scottish Perth College (University of the highlands), means to set up a joint program in aircraft maintenance.

Wahadneh said that developing technical programs for students is important to provide local and Arab markets with practical-trained and qualified cadres. He stressed JUST's keenness to benefit from the process of exchanging expertise and interacting between teaching staff and students.

Head of Aerospace Engineering Department at the university Tariq Darabseh pointed to the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Perth University to graduate aircraft maintenance engineers to meet the needs of local and regional markets. (Petra)
