Egypt: Arab League to Launch First Global Real Estate Bourse

Egypt (Cairo) - The Arab League Secretariat General announced Thursday that it would launch its first Global real estate bourse with Arab and international participation aimed at developing real estate investment.

Dr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Tuwaijri, Arab League Assistant Secretary-General for Economic Affairs, stressed in remarks in Cairo the importance of this project, which is sponsored by the Arab League .. He noted that a study on this market was made through international expertize.

He highlighted the importance the stock market gained in order to move the current Arab real estate markets to a new trend that depends on supply and demand and contribute to attracting Arab and foreign funds, which he said in turn could provide more forms of infrastructure, achieves economic growth and creates jobs for young people.

He further said that as part of the promotion of this project, the Arab League would host founding conference of the Arab real estate bourse on 26 April to identify investors with advantages of the bourse.
