Morocco, France sign agreement to enhance industrial promotion

Morocco (Rabat) - Morocco and France signed a general agreement aimed at creating a partnership on technological research to achieve prompt industrial promotion that involves Moroccan enterprises.

The agreement was signed by Ahmed Reda Chami, Minister of Industry, Commerce and New Technologies, chairman of the Moroccan Foundation for Advanced Science, Innovation and Research (MAScIR), and Hervé Bernard, vice Chairman of French Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission (CEA).

This partnership, which mirrors the will to place Morocco among countries producers of technologies, will enable us to work on energy storage, sea water desalination and renewable energy, Chami told the press following the agreement signing ceremony. (MAP)
