Global Arab Network - Khalil bin Abdullah al Khunji, Chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) received at OCCI HQs the Brazilian trade delegation currently visiting the Sultanate and reviewed with them the cooperation fields between the Sultanate and Brazil.

The Brazilian delegation currently visiting the Sultanate as part of its tour in the GCC countries a number of foodstuffs, marine industries, red meat, poultry, oil, energy, health, construction, real estate, logistic services, sports and other companies.

The Brazilian delegation stressed the status of the Sultanate in the region, as well as, the economic, geographic and strategic potentials that make the Sultanate part of the interest of international investors and businessmen. This serves as a good thrust to enhance partnership with the Omani private sector through opening up new investment fields.

On his part, OCCI Chairman called on the Brazilian delegation to benefit from the investment potentials provided by the Sultanate in the different economic sectors, especially the economic and industrial areas in Sohar Port, Salalah Port and A'Duqum Port, which provide many investment opportunities, besides benefiting from the basic services provided by these areas.

The delegation reviewed the Brazilian experience in the field of constructing and fixing ready made houses and sports investment through opening football schools in collaboration with the Brazilian Clubs, as well as, the construction of private sports institutes and establishments in collaboration with the Omani Football Association.
