Qaddafi’s wife, Safia, daughter Aisha and two sons, Hannibal and Mohammad, with their wives and children, have arrived in Algeria, the Algeria Press Service reported today, citing a statement by the country’s foreign ministry. Mustafa Abdel Jalil, chairman of the rebel’s National Transitional Council, said on Al Jazeera that the new leadership will demand that Algeria return Qaddafi’s sons.

Another son, Khamis, and Qaddafi’s top security adviser Abdullah al-Senussi were killed in a NATO air strike, Sky News reported, citing a man claiming to have been Kamis’s bodyguard. A rebel official, speaking on the condition he not be named, said the deaths in fighting southeast of Tripoli are almost confirmed.
