The Arab-British Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) has been committed to the encouragement of Arab-British trade and economic co-operation since 1975. ABCC motto, ‘Friendship through Trade’, is the distinguishing ethic to many and varied services.
The Chamber has been encouraging and promoting Arab-British trade and economic cooperation since 1975, so ABCC services, experience and knowledge could prove invaluable to your enterprise. Joining the Chamber puts you in contact with a wide business network in the UK and the Arab world via ABCC strong and productive ties with Arab and British Chambers of Commerce and business communities.
ABCC works in close co-operation with the Arab businesses and official bodies, particularly the League of Arab States and its specialised agencies, Arab diplomatic missions in London, Chambers of Commerce in the Arab world at a federal, national and local level as well, as Arab-Foreign chambers.
Trade Services
The A-BCC provides the only Arab League endorsed certification services for Certificates of Origin, commercial invoices and other commercial documentation required for the export of goods to Arab countries
Visa Services
ABCC provides this service to members to enable visas to be processed without having to come to London, thereby saving valuable time, effort and cost
Events
To facilitate and promote networking opportunities, the Chamber organises regular events that cover all sectors of trade and commerce, inclusive of all Arab countries. These events include: conferences and meetings, workshops and seminars, trade missions and exhibitions such as the highly successful December 2004 Palestinian Trade Fair
Publications
ABCC dedicated publications team publishes various publications for members that highlight new issues and opportunities affecting Arab-British trade. ABCC Business Bulletin is issued fortnightly to keep readers on the pulse of latest news of tenders and projects in the Arab world, business leads, currency exchange rates and developments in Iraq.
Business Research Services
ABCC can provide you with information on conducting business and trade for both British and Arab business communities. This is complimented by ABCC Resource Centre which provides a comprehensive library boasting the latest trade publications and material in Arabic and English.
Training
The Chamber provides courses in learning the Arabic language for various levels and for gaining a cultural understanding of conducting business in the Arab world. The A-BCC's training courses can tailor lesson content, location and times to meet your specific needs.
