The Arab Thought Foundation is an international, independent and non-governmental organization created in 2001 with the objective of promoting the interests of the Arab region. The foundation believes in a constructive and continuous cooperation between the business community, the intellectuals and the civil society in order to advance the development of the Arab societies. It aims at improving all fields of knowledge through the generation of innovative and creative ideas.
The Arab Thought Foundation is an initiative developed collaboratively by intellectuals and businessmen to provide value to the Arab identity. Among other important goals, the Foundation aims to “initiate cultural and media programs which contribute to a better understanding of the Arab civilization on an international scope.”
In order to accomplish its mission, the Arab Thought Foundation conducts a certain number of activities in the field of Education, Art & Culture, Youth empowerment and others. It also offers to the Arab communities once a year a unique platform for ideas exchange, creative thinking and innovation in the occasion of its annual conference, FIKR. FIKR is the only gathering in the Arab world bringing together top experts from different fields of knowledge but also the active business community of the region, the representatives of the civil society and more importantly the Arab Youth, the future of our region.
